Beyond Adventure have something to offer you whether you are a recreational paddler or someone working in the outdoor industry wanting to further their skills.
Open canoeing originated in North America where canoes were used as transport across vast networks of rivers and lakes. Today the canoe retains the original design features but manufactured using modern processes. This means that the canoe is as suited to travelling through the wilderness today as it was in history.

We run BCU courses at all levels throughout the year.
Expeditions
Our canoe programme offers open canoeing in Scotland, Europe and North America:
Two or Four day expeditions on the River Tay or Spey, to sample the delights of the canoe journey.
Each trip guided by an expert river guide who will ensure the correct ratio of safety and adventure.
What about exploring the wilder areas of Scotland by canoe ? Moidary nd the North West Highlands ?
Skills Courses
We offer half and full day loch sessions to introduce you to open canoeing or to develop your skills
Day trips on rivers including gentle flows suitable for beginners or white water for those who want the added adrenaline or challenge
Family Fun sessions
These sessions are on offer for families to try canoeing in a fun safe way. Maybe you have your own canoe and are already having your own adventures but just want to know more about rescues. Maybe you just want a fun day out with friends. Our instructors are very skilled at giving you a great day out with just the right amount of coaching and fun for your group.
Beyond Adventure are fully approved by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority
Prices vary but large discounts are available for groups (4 or more) or families
In addition we offer a full programme of canoe skills courses - tailor made to suit your personal development needs. If required Beyond Adventure can arrange accommodation.
