Coast to Coast Expedition
This expedition, paddling from the west to the east coast of Scotland, uses short sections of the Caledonian Canal to link Lochs Lochy, Oich and Ness. There is the option of paddling a couple of rivers in place of the canal, where river levels are suitable. The Great Glen is ever changing, so within this five day trip you may encounter mirror calm water to big waves and some exciting sailing!
Itinerary
5 days paddling from Corpach to Inverness.
Accommodation
First night in Smiddy bunkhouse, Corpach, 4 nights camping by the lochside.
Canoeing Standard
This expedition is suitable for those with little canoeing experience as well as experienced paddlers who prefer a guided trip. Please note that there will be some portaging round the locks on canal sections.
