Beyond Adventure offer First Aid Courses under the trading name Practical First Aid Training.

This name reflects our aim of running courses with a good level of practical training as well as teaching first aid ‘that works’.
These courses will include formal teaching combined with both indoor and outdoor practical training. For your group we can arrange a suitable location or come to your workplace to deliver the course

First responder (1 Day) Information

This Emergency First Aid Course is a short (1 day/ 6 hours) course, allowing students the chance to obtain a First Aid Certificate suitable for being an 'appointed person'. The core programme will focus on basic life support. As our name suggests the emphasis will be on teaching First Aid in a practical way to enhance students' learning. The course will cover all aspects of Basic Life Support (BLS) including the unconscious casualty, resuscitation, bleeding, fractures and shock.

Cost per day

£60 per head (inc VAT) includes: First Aid manuals, certification, course equipment & course fees, up to 12 students can be trained per trainer. To book a course a minimum of 6 places must be taken.

Equipment

Students should wear suitable clothing for acting as ‘casualties’ (note that this will include practical work outside so students must be dressed appropriately for all weather eventualities!) and bring a pen/ pencil.
