We're a family of four with two younger kids, (7 & 5) and wanted to do something a little different and create some magical memories. My kids haven't stopped talking about Ross and canoeing since we got back! They keep asking when will we go back and see Ross again. From the very beginning, emailing and getting a quick and lovely response from Jules, to meeting Ross at the venue, the service and care was outstanding. We went to Loch Faskally which was tranquil, beautiful with stunning scenery. Ross was amazing and can't thank him enough for helping us to make such a great memorable day for our kids! He was friendly, funny and informative throughout the trip. Your trip starts with Mark kitting you up with your waterproof overclothes, paddles, gloves if you need them. Nothing appears to be too much trouble for them to make sure that you enjoy your trip.
A short drive to the chosen destination for your canoe adventure and when we arrived the scenery and Autumn colours were truly breath taking.
A beautiful, tranquil, fun experience that can only be truly understood when you have done this for yourself.
If you are thinking about booking this trip, stop thinking about it and get it booked. You won't regret it.

We paddled down a short stretch of the River Lyon and on to the River Tay and in total paddled for about 6 miles. It was a beautiful day and our instructor for the day (Grant) was extremely knowledgeable and looked after us really well on our short trip down the rivers.

From all the similar locations in the region from the outset during booking process Julie was so understanding & helpful to offer a session that really suited us.
With Mark our tutor we enjoyed a fantastic first session (3hrs) with Mark who tailored the location and lesson to really suit us. He was informative, understanding and was able to teach us the basics we needed to give us comfort & confidence to go canoeing again soon. We will be back to try other experiences soon. I thought they would be more unstable than a sit on top kayak but Mark the instructor told me he would have me stable and balanced in 5 minutes. Got on the river and he was right, it felt very stable and that was my main worry. Mark explained the river features and the obstacles to avoid. Then we did grade one and finally grade two rapids and I didn’t capsize. Thanks to Mark for the great instruction and an easy going and friendly half day. We were met at the centre by Ross and Mark; both of whom were lovely, everything was explained well and nothing was too much! After getting kitted up we drove down the river and got going. Mark was brilliant and put us at ease, having never been on a river in a kayak before we were initally very hesitant! Mark worked with us slowly and built up confidence and technique very quickly! We are a group of various age and abilities and this was so well dealt with by our leaders that no one felt awkward and we all had such a good time.
