The last 2 weeks have been unprecedented. In the UK there will not have been a person, institution or business that has not been effected.
With the announcement that the schools throughout the UK are to be shut from Friday a lot of parents will be left unsure of how they are going to cope with the added stress of childcare. As it happens, we have a lot of free time all of a sudden at Beyond Adventure and wanted to design a programme for school kids that allows them to experience the outdoors whilst keeping them safe. We have come up with he following –
Adventure School Days
Groups of 6 max (this is 4 below the recommended number to help protect the pupils).
10 – 15.30 Monday to Friday
Each day we will have one activity which will be selected from the following – canoeing, SUP, Kayak, Mountain Biking and Gorge Walking.
Each day we will also have time for a study activity (river study, wildlife walk and bug hunts).
There will also be time for the kids to tackle school work if thy have been left any.
We can run 2 groups each day. One for P5 – P7 and one for S1 to S4 pupils.
£34 per day per pupil with the 5th day Half price.
If you are a Primary Care Worker, your child will get the 5th Day for free.
These activities will all be fully licensed and insured, our instructors are fully qualified with excellent experience in each activity.
