Autumn has to be one of the most mesmorising times to adventure in Scotland.
We are spoiled in Perthshire (also know as the Big Tree County) - our forests are the perfect place to take in the full spectrum of colour as the leaves change from lush greens to every shade of yellow, orange and red.
Immersing yourself in these colours, either by paddling by the tree lined banks of our lochs and river or walking under the rich canopy is a must for any visitor to the Scottish Highlands.

This is without doubt our favourite location in October. Whatever way you choose to travel (SUP, Canoe or walking) the stunning river is lit up with the autumnal colours in a way you would not believe. Come see it for yourself!
Cycle through the woods
Autumn is one of our favourite times to get on our bikes. The trails around Aberfeldy are spectacular - ranging from steep and technical single track to gentle forrestry tracks - all through beautiful woodland.
Canoe down the beautiful River Tay
We are situated on the banks of the River Tay and are lucky enough to witness the changing of the seasons from our front door. Join us on a river trip and see for yourself why this area is so special!
Paddleboard on the gorgeous Loch Faskally
Paddleboarding is one of the most enjoyable ways to spend your time on the water and even more so when you have an amazing backdrop like Loch Faskally. Waterfalls, rolling hills and golden leaves are in abundance!
Walk amoungst giants in the Hermitage
The Hermitage is a spectacular setting throughout October. Boasting many of the biggest trees in the country you feel dwarfed when amoungst them all. Perfect for all ages and abilities the hermitage has plenty of places to explore either on foot or by bike!
