Tiso Paddle Boarding Courses
We are excited to announce that we have started working in partnership with Tiso!
Since 1962 Tiso has been a household name in Scotland for their pioneering retail shops. The Scottish outdoors and Tiso have been linked since then, with the company enjoying a massive presence all over the nation. From Edinburgh to Aviemore, Tiso have fantastic stores to cater for all your outdoor needs!
In recent years paddle sports have continued to rise in popularity. In particular, paddle boarding has seen a massive increase with many people in Scotland now owning a board.
We have designed two paddle board courses that will be sold through the Tiso website to give people, with a newly purchased board, the chance to learn how to enjoy the water whilst remaining safe.
Intro to Paddle Boarding for Beginners
This course has been designed for those that have never paddle boarded before.
On this full day experience, we will introduce you to this amazing sport, give you the basic skills to ensure you have fun on the water whilst giving you top tips on how to keep safe.
From setting up your board to choosing locations, from mastering standing on the board through to what to do if you fall in the water - we have the experience to answer all your questions!

Intro to Rivers for Paddle Boarders
Have you enjoyed paddle boarding on sheltered water but want to take the sport to the next level?
On this full day experience we will take to the rivers of Scotland to show you how to paddle board on moving water - our favourite venue for SUP! This day will give you the skills to go out and have fun on the river whilst keeping safe.
From learning about river features to how to rescue yourself and your friends in a rapid, this course is perfect for those who are new to the river environment.
