We Are Good To Go

We are open for bookings from the 6th July and we cannot wait to get you out on the water with us again!

As part of the process to open our doors we have been working tirelessly to make sure that it is safe for our staff, our customers and our community. As part of this we have changed the way we operate so that we are able to follow the latest guidelines and advice that is available to us. The above picture is proof that we have met industry standards of cleanliness and have also put procedures in place to maintain social distancing.

So what are we doing differently?

Booking

We are only accepting prior online bookings. This is to make sure that we can manage the flow of people in our base and keep everybody safe. This also allows us to spend more time outside (which again is a lot safer) and all payments will have been sorted before hand.

Cleaning 

We have tightened up all our cleaning schedules so that our base and facilities are as clean as possible for your arrival.

Social distancing 

Our base will have a maximum of 2 households (plus staff) inside at the one time. We will make sure that all booking forms, payments and paperwork has been sorted online before you turn up.

Equipment

All equipment will have been sanitised to a high level between activities, to make sure it is safe to use. All our staff will wear PPE to make sure there is no contamination before you wear it.

Transport

Where possible we are encouraging our customers use their own transport. After arriving at our base you will meet your guide who will issue equipment and brief you on the days activities. You will then have a short drive to the start of your trip. The BA staff will transport boats and equipment for you.

Activites

For July we are only taking 2 households out at a time. We are starting by offering paddleboarding and canoeing sessions as we feel that these are the easiest activities to maintain an effective social distance. As government advice changes we will review this to open up the rest of our activities such a gorge walking and kayaking.
