We are reopening

It has been a long time coming but we are looking forward to start taking groups out from the 6th July onwards. To say we are excited is a bit of an understatement, its a late start to our season but we are happy to have a date to aim for now!

We have been committed during the lockdown to keep our staff, customers and community safe. In light of the announcement made this week by the Scottish government we have deemed it safe to open our doors once again.

To make sure we all remain safe we have had to think carefully about how we are going to operate to make sure that we can maintain our high standards of service.

We are limiting our activities to start with to Paddleboarding and canoeing. These activities have been chosen as they are easy to keep at a social distance at all times (even with rescues) and are suitable for all levels of ability (they are also awesome fun!).

To start with we will only be taking a maximum of 2 households out at a time and only 8 people per group.

All our equipment, base and grounds will be cleaned to the standards set by the most current guidelines.

To cut down on contact time in our base all our bookings will be done online prior to arrival.

Our By the River base will be the meeting point for all our trips, after you have met your guide for the day you will be given all the equipment for the day. We are then asking our clients to drive themselves to the start point of our trip, this again cuts down on contact time in a close proximity.
