Winter Wellness in The Outdoors
In January and Februray this year we are offering free places to our Winter Wellness sessions.
The start of a new year can be a challenging time for everyone. Long nights, questionable weather and the buzz of Christmas and Hogmanay have disappeared. This often leaves a void in our lives allowing the winter blues to take hold.
This is where we can help.
Spending time in the outdoors has huge benefits for our well being. By remaining active we can improve our physical wellbeing and give our mental health a massive boost.
Every Friday we will be heading out from our base in Aberfeldy, no matter what the weather throws at us! Our activities will range from a walk in the woods to getting on the water in canoes. The days are not about adreneline or scaring ourselves in white water, they are about spending time in nature with good people.
These sessions are open to everyone. There is no charge to come along and there is no obligation to come to more than one if it turns out it is not for you. We can help with transport to and from Aberfeldy if you can't get yourself to our base.
We are working alongside Healthiest Town to get in touch with those who may need this provision the most. You can get in touch with us directly or be referred to these sessions. If you think you know of someone who would benefit from coming along, please spread the word.
See you outside!
